We genuinely care about our beautiful 17th century barn and the charity it supports, which is why no two events at The Northorpe Barn are the same.
Everything is thoughtfully planned around you, no corporate machine, you are not just another booking.
Not only do we take care of all the planning but we will be here on the day to make sure you have the best time! Making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Sam
Hi, I’m Sam, Venue & Events Manager at the barn.
It’s important to me & all of the team here that everyone who walks through the door of the barn has a positive, fun & rewarding experience, and above all else the most fun, and we all work hard to make sure that happens.
Emma
Hi, I’m Emma, I got married at The Northorpe Barn and loved it so much I joined the team.
I’m now the Wedding Co-Ordinator here and love helping couples bring their dream day to life. I work hard to create a relaxed, happy atmosphere, making sure every detail comes together perfectly.
From your first visit to the final farewell, Sam and Emma are the people who make it all happen.
They’re not just here on the day, they’re with you throughout the whole journey, helping you shape a wedding that actually feels like you. Whether it’s talking through ideas, tweaking layouts, or making sure the little details don’t get overlooked, they’re here to guide and offer help and advice, without ever taking over.
On the day itself, they’re the calm behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus on what matters;
having the best day of your lives.
What makes this place different is simple: they genuinely care. Not just about the space, but about the people in it.

About Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust
Every event held at Northorpe Barn directly supports the work of Northorpe Hall Child + Family Trust.
From weddings and celebrations to community and business events, the Barn generates vital income that is reinvested into providing support for children, young people, and familiesacross West Yorkshire.
For over 60 years, the Trust has been helping families access the right support at the right time. Today, they provide neurodivergent young people and their families with specialistsupport that nurtures potential, builds confidence, and helps them navigate day-to-day life. Their specialist services include mentoring, therapies and tailored programmes for young people up to aged 25.

Make a donation
If you're celebrating your wedding or special event at Northorpe Barn, you can choose to support Northorpe Hall Child + Family Trust as part of your day. We can provide a donation link or QR code, making it easy for guests to contribute before or during your event.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue providing vital support to children, young people, and families when they need it most.
Make a regular donation
Regular giving helps us plan ahead and ensures support is available for families throughout the year. Even £1 or £2 a month, combined with others in our community, helps us continue delivering vital services to local families.
